Q: Are your body washes safe to use with septic systems?

A: Thanks for asking! While our body washes do contain ingredients like Sodium Laureth Sulphate and Sodium Chloride (common in most soaps), we've found they’re generally fine for most septic systems when used in normal amounts. For example, our founder’s family uses them regularly with their Aerated Septic System and haven’t had any issues—plus, their garden’s thriving! As always, if your system is particularly sensitive, it’s best to check with your provider.

Q: Where are your products made?

A: We’re passionate about supporting our local economy and sustaining Aussie jobs. Our Body Washes are manufactured in Melbourne & Sydney.

Q: What is the shelf life of your Body Wash products?

A: Approximately 3-years. The shelf life of our body wash range is approximately 3 years. Once opened, there’s a little symbol of an open jar on the side of the bottle that says 12M. This indicates the months it’s okay for use once opened when stored according to the directions.

Q: Are your products just for men?

A: Not at all—Woodsman is for everyone with skin. While we started with a focus on men’s skincare, our body washes are made for anyone who wants to smell amazing and feel fresh, no matter how they identify. Each scent has its own personality, so whether you're into bold, earthy vibes or something a little lighter, there’s a Woodsman with your name on it.

Q: Do you still sell your moisturiser, face scrub, or face wash?

A: We don’t currently sell our moisturiser, face scrub, or face wash - these were part of our original skincare range, and while we loved them (and know many of you did too), we’ve since shifted our focus to perfecting our body washes. That said, we’re always listening and evolving, so never say never! If you’re keen to see the skincare range make a comeback, let us know—we’re all ears (and soap).

Q: How do I recycle your bottles?

A: To recycle our bottles, simply finish every last drop, rinse the bottle out, and place it in your kerbside recycling bin.

 Q: Do you have a refill pouch available?

A: We don’t offer refill pouches just yet, but we’re looking into it. While they can be more sustainable, many aren’t easily recyclable, and we want to make sure any option we choose is genuinely better for the planet. We're on the hunt for the right solution—watch this space!

A: Yes we do. Shipping costs for all orders to New Zealand will be calculated at checkout.

Q: Who do you use for shipping?

A: To keep shipping affordable for you, we use the most cost-effective delivery option available. That usually means a courier service for metro areas and Australia Post for regional or remote locations. We always aim to get your order to you quickly!
